UsEr IntErviews?
Sit down! Ill pluck my the answers out of you... with cute pictures of cats and rainbow sprinkles...from hell! thanks for your cooperation >:)

Alright, user interviews; how should they be conducted? How and When? Well we're talking about user experience in general. It may be very broad from interaction with surroundings to a user interface the size of a bar of soap.

It begins with defining the purpose of the interview, knowing the right answers to ask, organizing, and presenting. You don't want your interviewee to turn pale and gray haired. Which leads us to the idea of interviewing the target demographic users as well as trying a slight out of range outreach to understand the spectrum, find them on the streets, coffee shops, post an open forum, heck reddit it! Ask open ended questions, let them know your purpose, set them at ease and provide some compensation for their time. Essentially its Guerilla research.

Client interviews are similar, they understand your questions are part of the research of discovery and understanding. These are for informed decisions in the design process.

Now what else can we write? Copy paste an article? hard to follow the prompt. Its all pretty much self explanatory, be yourself, ask what you need. We are all people and mainly there should not be a monotonous prompt to follow dictated by some book. Its dynamics... just have a conversation!
